Fixing Poorly Done Work

I had my hall bath redone in 2024 which included putting in a heated floor system. It never seemed to heat right, but I was living to “make do” because the company didn’t like it when I told them (in my opinion) things were not being done right. Starting in December of 2025 I could smell something overheating but couldn’t find out were it was coming from. Then in January of 2026 the heat pad control quit working so I texted the original company to come fix it but they said my year warranty was up in November of 2025 and they would not come back and I was “difficult to work with”!

So I did my research and found Vern and his company Home Comfort Heating and Air, LLC. I gave you the background above because Vern and Travis (his office coordinator) treated me so differently! Vern came to see me within 2 days to see my issue and told me how the problem need to be fixed …. Walking me through every part of the project and how he would fix it. I was instantly comfortable with him . He was kind and explained everything in terms I could understand. He said he would send me an estimate for the work that needed to be done and I had received the estimate in about 2 days . It was quite a bit cheaper than the first contractor and he could do it very soon( like a week later he started). His work was outstanding and he used quality products.

He recommended a contractor who could tear out the flooring that was just 15 months old, find the problems, explain what was wrong, how to fix it and guaranteed it would be done right! He came when he said he would, he worked with the contractor he recommended, showed me what he was doing and completed his part of the project in a timely fashion with quality products.
